The software in my opinion completely eliminates the use of an Akai MPC Series drum machine and replaces it with a micro small, solid compact studio alternative, that you can load up on your Mac or PC for on the go session design. The Hip Hop Production piece turned out mesmerizing and all I applied were the bare basics. The Sampler features are absolutely astounding. I used Kong Drum Designer to generate some new fresh Drum Samples and they turned out nice think and beefy! I removed the old sampler claps and used Live Sampling for a more real and organic clap sample. The Blocks feature allowed me to throw together the arrangement in literal seconds. I later added some gangster singing vocals and tweaked them using Neptune Pitch Adjustment. I exported this session into Reason 5 and did some tweaking to the instruments.
